Soup BowlsThe Community Council for the Arts is pleased to bring you the 10th annual Soup and a Bowl family event on Sunday, Jan 25th beginning at 11:00 AM. Come early for the best selection of ceramic bowls and soups! Hot, homemade soups and hand crafted ceramic bowls will be available at the Arts Center, located at 400 North Queen Street in downtown Kinston.

Don't miss this community favorite! Family and friends will meet to sample some of the best soups you'll have all season long! Local residents share with you, the best of what they have to offer, preparing large batches of soup in their own kitchen to share with the community. And, as if this was not enough, your ticket price includes a handcrafted ceramic bowl, made locally by the talented potters of Eastern North Carolina.

This event is in it's tenth year and continues to grow in popularity. In addition to a fabulous hot lunch and being surrounded by friends and family, Soup and A Bowl raises crucial funds for the operation of the Kinston Arts Council. With your support, this organization can continue to bring high caliber artists and high profile arts projects to Eastern North Carolina.

Tickets for this event are available now at the Arts Center, 400 N. Queen Street or by calling (252) 527-2517. $12 in advance/ $15 at the door. Ticket price includes, lunch (homemade soup, salad, beverage, dessert and hand crafted ceramic bowl). Kid's art activities will be held in the children's painting studio!
