Hampton Gallery

36th Annual CCA National Competitive Exhibition —
Featuring artists from all over the United States, 18 years and older. All excepted works are on display in the Main floor Gallery (Hampton Gallery).

On February 9, a reception was held honoring exhibitors. This event was sponsored by the Lenoir County Artist League and the Art Study Club. Entertainment was provided by Twisted Knot. Judging this year’s CCA-NCE was Bob Rankin (picture left), who is a North Carolina artist and teacher. Bob creates representational, abstract and mixed media paintings. Some of his paintings are on display in The Kenneth & Kristi Blizzard Gallery (see below). For more information about Bob and his work, visit his website .

The Kenneth & Kristi Blizzard Gallery

Artists of ART105 — This exhibit features work from artists who rent a studio space and sell their work at ART105, formerly Overland Gallery. This open concept venue allows the public to view artists as their work is being created and provides an opportunity for visitors to meet artists and purchase artwork onsite.

Minges Gallery & Rayner Gallery

Local Art — Paintings created by art students in Bettie Saville’s painting class at the Lenoir County Council on Aging, Inc. The class meets from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Thursdays, at the Skinner Senior Center, 112 East Blount Street. Classes are free; there is a cost for art supplies. Visitors are welcome.
