The COMMUNITY COUNCIL FOR THE ARTS is seeking applications for the 2018–2019 Grassoot Sub-Grants. The deadline has been extended. Applications are now due by Friday, October 12, 2018. Complete funding guidelines and applications are available at the following link

Grassroot Sub-Grants

The Artist of the Month of October is Nancy Ping Robbins.
Nancy's painting is available for purchase and will be on
display in the lobby of the Arts Center this month.

Stop by and visit Queen Street Deli which features the artwork of local artists. Featured this month is the work of Dodi Groesser. The Queen Street Deli is located at 117 S. Queen Street in Kinston.​

Our Mission Statement

The Community Council for the Arts is the regional center unifying community ties through exposure to the arts and providing rich cultural experiences while promoting tourism, economic development, and educational opportunities for all.

Hours of Operation Tuesday - Friday: 10:00am - 6:00pm; Saturday: 10:00am - 2:00pm; Closed Sunday & Monday
The Arts Center is open to the public and admission is free.

Funding for Arts Center Programs provided in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, North Carolina Arts Council - a State agency, and the Southern Arts Federation.
